Silviu RAILEANU (PhD) is currently associate professor at the University Politehnica Bucharest, Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers. He received both his engineering degree (2005) and his master's degree (2009) in automatics from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers of the University Politehnica of Bucharest. In 2011 he obtained a double PhD degree from University Politehnica Bucharest (RO) and University of Valenciennes (FR) in Systems Engineering. He is in charge of the academic courses: “Supply Chain Management and Logistics”, “Multi-agent Systems for Enterprise Control” and “Information systems for intelligent production management”, and of the laboratories “Computer Integrated Manufacturing” and “Robot Control Systems”. His scientific interests include: Contextual Enterprise and Big Data processing; Business Analytics and Optimization; Distributed   intelligence for automation systems; Agent orientation in industry and services; virtualized Holonic Manufacturing Execution Systems; Optimization of mixed batch planning and products scheduling with CP and ILOG; Optimization of supply chains and manufacturing value chain; Cloud manufacturing.
